New Facility
Plans for the new Institute include relocation of the Center for Development and Learning from its current location to a new building on the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities campus 1.5 miles south of the UNC campus, which currently houses the UNC Autism Center (home of the Chapel Hill TEACCH Center). In addition, the Institute is working to find support for additional space on that campus that can house developmental disability focused research teams and perhaps a preschool.
