Clinic Services
The CIDD provides an array of clinical services for children and adults who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities. Our interdisciplinary faculty and teams offer assessment, consultation, and treatment options for individuals with behavioral, learning, and developmental needs across the lifespan. Emphasis is on individuals and their families who have intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, and genetic or medical conditions which impact development, health, and independent living.
Community Services
The Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities is available to offer a variety of services to community agencies through contractual arrangements. The CIDD faculty is engaged in numerous on-site and community-based services throughout the year. These services include, but are not limited to: direct service, technical assistance, consultation, continuing education, project evaluation, needs assessments, and policy and planning activities.
