The CIDD LINK team offers multi-day trainings on interdisciplinary team assessment of children who are suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder. Objectives include (a) describing the core traits of autism; (b) understanding the impact of communication, behavioral and sensory differences on school participation / daily functioning; (c) administering and scoring related, evidence-based assessment measures; and (d) conducting comprehensive assessments necessary for diagnosis or to establish eligibility for educational services under the autism category. Trainings are tailored to meet the needs of school-based teams, early intervention agencies, or other professional groups.
