16. TEACCH School Transition to Employment and Postsecondary Education for Autistic Students

Description:

This study examined the effectiveness of the T-STEP Program developed by the UNC TEACCH Autism Program to develop skills needed for future school or work success. The research component has concluded, but the T-STEP program is still available through Vocational Rehabilitation Services in partnership with select community colleges across North Carolina.

Recruiting Info:

Autistic 16-21 year-olds who have or will receive the Future-Ready Core high school diploma. Involves group and individualized sessions. Contact the T-STEP team at TSTEPinfo@med.unc.edu
